While in KC, I had the pleasure of meeting up with an old high school friend, Nicole Dillman Winter. If memory is correct, it’s been nearly 16 years since we last spoke. Gotta love Facebook!!! I’ve moved around a lot in my life and unfortunately I’ve never been good at keeping in touch. Trying to break bad habits with age...where was Facebook 20 years ago?!?!
I had a fantastic visit with Nicole and her lovely family. So many crazy fun times come to mind and I wonder “why” or “how” the friendship ceased. Needless to say, I feel fortunate to have reconnected. Nicole was a good friend and our visit exemplified her kind, easy-going, fun spirit. Everyone deserves goodness in life, but there are those extra special people that have truly earned a good life…and Nicole is one of those special people. It’s such a good feeling to see friends living a happy fulfilled life. Nicole is an excellent Mom, although she’s always been a natural nurturer. She has three beautiful children who are all very happy kids…that alone speaks volumes of one’s success.
Nicole, THANK YOU, for a wonderful visit and your warm hospitality! It was so great to see you and reminisce about the old days. I look forward to future visits! Love you and your beautiful children.
